Wipe or rinse the cloth with cold water and a drop of dish soap if necessary. Then air dry on a dish rack and fold the beeswax wrap for storage in a box or jar, preferably in a dry place. Beeswax cloths are sensitive to heat. Therefore, avoid warm contact with the beeswax wraps. This includes direct sunlight, hot water, dishwashers, or microwaves.
Our beeswax wrap last for about 1-2 years. After that time, the beeswax wrap may start to crack a bit. Then you can buy beeswax from us and rewax the beeswax wraps, making them as good as new again.
Our beeswax wraps contain fabric, Swedish beeswax, pine resin, and organic coconut oil. All fabrics have OEKO-TEX 100 certification, which demands social and ecological sustainability.
If your beeswax wrap has started to crack, it means that it needs a bit more wax. You can sprinkle some beeswax on it and put it in the oven at 70 degrees Celsius, and it will be like new!
No. Beeswax wraps should not be used for raw meat, fish, or poultry.
